Baildon v Thornensians: Baildon +7. Bogtrotters suffering vertigo and unable to breathe in the rarified atmosphere of Mount Doom.

Hullensians v Ripon: Ripon -7. Something has to fall into place for the young farmers after two defeats on the trot. Great defence, developing set piece and a trip to the seaside. What could possibly go wrong.

Keighley v Wheatley Hills: Keighley +7. Just got to go with form and the simple but effective way Keefleh play.

Leeds Corinthians v North Ribblesdale: Ribb +7. Sheep sha**ers to have a great coach trip to Middleton and to take in the stimulating conversation and local cultural attractions on the way back. Can’t wait to watch the video.

Northallerton v Wetherby: North +7. Just going for home advantage.

Wensleydale v Wath: ‘Dale +7. Pie men overawed by echoes of “Sound of Music”coming from the mountains too much to focus on game.

Yarnbury v Old Grovians: Grovians -7. Poo boys to take good advantage of the clean pitch, just hope the AGP police check their boots first.

Beverly Hills of Bradford vs M18 Massive
Baildon to make use of the gale force winds and Thorne's lack of training at high altitude to romp to victory. Cherry VKs all round for the Bad Boy Chiller Crew. Baildon +7

Seamen vs Friendly Farmers
It sounds like a poorly thought out Grand Tour Title, but it could be a good day out for the Rugrats from North Yorkshire. They'll have to hope mummy and daddy give them their pocket money for the bus trip. Ripon -7

Queefleh vs Slimming Worlds
The league's best fatties to come unstuck on the magic carpet as they realise you need to use more than the big boys upfront on the highly popular and entirely non-controversial rubber tyre pitch. Keighley +7

Referee's Favourites vs A club that has no association with Wharfedale RUFC in anyway shape or form
WWW and Pikey will surely have some thoughtful insights on the various wrong doings from Ribb' and how the boys from Miggy can are innocent in everything they do. Unfortunately the scoreboard doesn't lie and neither do the holier-than-thou members from Settle. Ribb' +7

Teeside Terrors vs Fat Fighters
Big, boring, boggy game. Backing North' as the Wetherby fat lads will be out of breathe from their trip up the A1. North' -7

Cheesey Wotsits vs Fat Fighters but butter but not as good as 'Hills
Predicting a big away win and Wath use their mass to roll over the cheesey wotsits on their teeny tiny pitch. If it wasn't for the much nicer scenery, Wath probably would feel right at home. Wath +7

Yawnbury vs BTEC Etonians
Another match on the highly prized magic carpet, now they don't put out 6 teams a week is this Yawn's only boasting point? It looks likely a home win is on the cards unless the Pooh boys can ask their Landlord's at Cross Green for some of their cast offs. Yawn +7

Is the Baildon - Thorn game off?

Baildon on their Instagram page saying they are playing Old Brods?

There own website suggests not. They appear to be having a charity fund raising day tomorrow and make mention they are playing Thorne.

Stella - That was posted on Tuesday - the Insta post was today ??
May be so but they can't change a league fixture that easily. And without wishing to offend, would Baildon be a fair match for Brods?
Also, it is Ladies Day over at Brods on Saturday when they entertain Scarborough.

Thornensians have posted on Facebook the tragic loss of "OJ", which may have resulted in their not playing this weekend. Have sent condolences from Ripon.

I've heard Wibblesdale are coming up with a ghetto blaster 2moz and are gonna show the Corinthians how to treat the referee properly, they are gonna have a little huddle, make the referee feel welcome and have a little sing song, those who are Scottish will know the song well except the words boogie have been replaced with lick it!

Mister,
Your eyes are full of hesitation,
Sure makes me wonder,
If you know what your looking for.
Uumm, Baby I wan't to keep my reputation,
I'm a sensation,
You try me once you'll beg for more.
Oooohh! Yes sir, I can lick it,
But I need a certain song,
I can lick it, lick it, lick it all night long
Ooooh!
Yes sir, I can lick it
If you stay, you can't go wrong,
I can lick it, lick it, lick it all night long...
No sir,
I don't feel very much like talking,
No neither walking.
You wanna know if I can dance,
Yes sir, already told you in the first verse and in the chorus,
But I will give you one more chance...
Ooohh! Yes sir, I can lick it,
But I need a certain song,
I can lick it, lick it, lick it, all night long.
Yes sir, I can lick it,
If you stay, you can't go wrong,
I can lick it, lick it, lick it, all night long...
Yes sir, I can lick it
If you stay, you can't go wrong,
I can lick it, lick it, lick it, all night long...
Yes sir, I can lick it,
But I need a certain song,
I can lick it, lick it, lick it all night long...
Yes sir, I can lick it
If you stay you can't go wrong,
I can lick it, lick it, lick it all night long...
Yes sir, I can lick it
If you stay you can't go wrong,
I can lick it, lick it, lick it all night long...
Yes sir, I can lick it
If you stay you can't go wrong,
I can lick it, lick it, lick it, all night long...

A free weekend meant I got to see some ‘in person rugby’ - location: Brownberrie Lane to see the much talked about ‘magic carpet’ in the local derby again Grovians.

After Grove went 26-0 up after 30 minutes (with their fullback scoring all the tries) it looked like it could be a long day at the office for the leagues favourite Anglers. Yarnbury (not at all Yawnbury) then went on to score 28 unanswered points - securing the comeback win in the last play of the game! A great game of rugby to watch!

Points to take away:
- Grovians must feel like that was a massive kick in the b*******, more cardio required?!
-Yarnbury need to work on their turnstile defence and take the skates off their scrum

Other interesting points:
- no Gate fee at Yarnbury, a positive for anyone looking after the pennies
- there were more dogs there than crufts, bad for anyone with allergies

Weirdo,
I did ask people not to post inane irrelevant drivel on the predictions page.
However had you been in the league I may have awarded you (or Google) half a point
for remembering the lyrics of a half-baked 70s disco song performed by a
couple of Spanish birds.

Exile
Think your generosity is over and above the call of duty for such "Drivel".
Personally I would start him on minus 2.
