West Leeds played but were no match for YMCA and I must say how disappointed I am in the way top of Y1 behaved purposely disrupting west warm up and showing no grace when winning by throwing cheap shots, threatening west coaching staff at least west came and played a fair game and lost with there heads held high expect more from a Y1 side.

correct YM did and well from were i was standing you bellend there was more then scuffles going on both teams played well. YM were too strong and played great the score reflects that but you showed no respect for west the way some of the players acted at least they turned up and played I just expected better thats all

Teddy, why do you expect more from Y1 side? No idea what happened and wasn't there but have you ever played Brid, Scarbs, Knottingley or Dinnington to name a few? You can hardly say chivalry is their no. 1 quality!

There was one scuffle! Fair enough our lad did a high tackle but the fact that your coaches stepped in when there was no need, he didn't even hurt the lad. I thought the rest of the game was played with a great temperament....I don't remember any other scuffle anyway!!!

At the end of the day there is still 15 v 15 scuffles will occur due to a contact sport. You can expect all you want, but respect is earned. West Leeds were a great set of lads, and I for one would hate to be on the end of 82 - 5 thumping. Respect was shown, but what do you want? A cake in changing room after?

I for one very much like this idea of a cake in the changing rooms, being a bit old fashioned a black Forrest cake would do me nicely, in fact i don't think i would leave the changing rooms.
As an aside does any one know any other results or failing that information on the post match selection of deserts would keep me entertained.

Bus, the cup results are on yorkshires pitchero site. The wath score i put up is just what it says on that site although the wath lads say it was 47-20, although to be fair it doesnt matter that much, the main thing is that wath are through.
I dont think there were too many surprise results is any of the comps other than cleckheatons win against harrogate, which i believe was the only result were the team from the lower league won.

Especially when you consider your position in Y4, West Leeds position in Y2 and your loss in the cup (Leeds Corinthians 13 Old Otliensians 18) ?

Look at the structure of our club taff, coaching staff steady stream of good young players coming through. We've a core set of lads that would get into most if not all y3 possible y2 teams this shows when the 4 lads we lost to west leeds all play first team although the best prop they had is now back with us. As a club the structure we have I believe we should be yorkshire 2 possibly 1 and I know others at the club think the same cause I've talked to them about it.

SLL, a genuine question that im sure is bothering most.
With such resources why are you languishing at the wrong end of Yorkshire 4?
Are you very sportingly holding these superior players back until you have reached their playing level?
I am also puzzled by what has happened to Corinthians this season. In June you were telling us that having recruited one of the best coaches in the Yorkshire leagues you would beat all before you and have promotion wrapped up by Christmas. What went wrong?

Due to injuries and unavailability we have struggled to get our full strength team out however when we have we have won. If we'd had this team out week in week out we would be top FACT. I think that answers both questions really. Maybe we should hold a questions and answers session some of you smaller clubs could learn from us

It must be terrible for Leeds corinthians not to be able to get there strongest team out week in week out due to unavailability / injuries. All other clubs ought to take note and think themselves lucky they dont have to go through the same horrible problems!! .....................oh wait they do!

I suspected you might say that, in which case your club is in a true position. If you are so reliant on a handful of players you are not a top of the table Yorkshire 4 side never mind Y3, 2 or 1.

Not entirely sure what that means - but, ok. I agree you are undoubtedly destined to rise through the yorkshire leagues, probably finding your level in the lower reaches of the Premiership. How West Leeds will rue the day they lost their prop to you.

Will do it's all about writing words as the sound. Don't worry about the silent letters if they should be in a word they need to speak up. Also try get fatter finders makes it easier to press a few keys at once

SLL I look at your league and feel that you will not get out this year,so means more work to be done as stated every team loses players to injuyries,unavailable players,so perhaps your depth of players is a problem many teams have good sections of juniors,but keeping them is difficult bit why did prop drop 4 leagues to return to you???? is Keith Barber (chairman one time)still going to your games???

if im honest i think out of all the clubs in leeds ive played against the corinthians is probably one i dislike the most and that has the worst facilities. I can see why you struggle with consistency as due to injury and unavailabilty you cant get a good side out every week. I think the state of your club explains why you have no depth because if i lived in leeds it would be one of the last clubs id go play for and im sure plenty will agree. Even if you do miraculously go up i cant ever see you getting much higher as there are much bigger and better clubs to be part of in leeds so your always gonna struggle. Harsh i know.........but true.
