So is there an explanation out there why the whole fixtures list is disjointed?

Bizarre! The whole lot. Not scheduled for everyone’s season to finish on the same day!!
York appear to play 1st and 8th of Feb but don’t play again to the 7th March  just doesn’t seem to make sense unless someone on the forum can explain?

I see Bradford and Bingley have lost their coach, gone to Rotherham
That would indicate that he is capable of coaching at a higher level.

I suppose coaching to Ant poser is his livelihood and he will go where the money is. Nothing wrong with that as long as clubs know that when they sign him. If he has a one year contract then his loyalty is for one year. You can't attach the same ties to a club that a long time member will have.
I suspect bees will lose a number of players for the same reason..
As will Scarborough!
Money normally buys you talent rarely loyalty!

Amazes me , all the speculation about who is playing where, it happens every season, let's just wait and see until an official announcement. I believe  that Kendal as a North West team should return to the division they were promoted from when they went undefeated (North West  One), Stockport have been in North One East in the past and have been up and down the leagues since. I know it causes difficulties and everybody wants to know when the fixtures will be produced, but it seems to very complex especially when a league reorganisation was announced in the middle of last season which as yet hasn't come to anything. Just my thoughts on this subject , that's all.
When do the fixtures come out?

It is a pleasure staying at Aynsome Manor near Cartmel.
Cartmel is a gem.
I prefer Appleby, free pony rides, bare knuckle fighting and good value copper wire!

Scabs have yet to announce their oversees recruitment yet, so a little premature!
They are waiting to see who may become available after the world cup. I understand they are really splashing the cash this season!!

8
Sounds promising as the midfield is where York struggled to defend at the level required for this league last season.

Kendal would be mint! Long weekend in the lakes.. Thursday to Monday... Walking on Friday and Sunday with rugby on Saturday. Southern lakes aren't my favourite but still I'm a very happy bunny if true ..

Agreed. however it will depend on when you get the away fixture?

A little sad that it isn't Stockport, as I will now find it difficult to justify a slight detour on the way to Kendal, for a visit  to the Saajan indian kebab house on the Wilmslow road in Fallowfield. The best Indian on the famous curry mile in my opinion! (Other Asian food outlets are available)

Ah ! Kendal, is it ? Well it’s a great trip for sure and we started and ended the season playing them, with comfortable victories, happily.

Their new Clubhouse is a Meridien compared to Scarb’s Holiday Inn and it’s an all-round great set-up. It costs an arm and a leg to run apparently.

Unsurprisingly perhaps, it cost £8 to get in - I wonder if that’ll reduce in September....
That's Scarborough's entry fee going up then!!

Scabs won’t have an issue and other clubs will dig a little deeper. However the issue here is that the well paid hired help at HQ get their sums wrong and it’s the hard working volunteers in the community game who have to work harder.
What’s next? Will they carry out their Inquisition on who is paying players (one way or the other) and who isn’t?
Well is is still supposed to be an amateur game at this level!

My view is if you can afford to pay players then you should pay your own way!

However if you are making money out of guys playing for your club then those who entertain the paying public should be looked after, depending on how much profit you make!

For me too many clubs bleat and call foul play, whilst wining and dining the blazers!

Hello folks new member but been following your often amusing posts this season. However it's all turning a bit nasty!
Don't like the Scarborough knocking. Fine club setting an example . Sometimes have as many as a 1000 kids playing rugby on a Sunday + girls teams at 13, 15 , 18 and full women's side .
I understand the jealousy of the finances but the club do use them correctly - unlike some.
I was also told 13 of the 18 players used in the Blackburn game all Scarborough boys coming through the ranks.
A bit of credit where credit is due would be nice !
Blimey are you BRB’s alter ego??

Loose head from YM is a decent prop, particularly when he goes unchecked by the ref!
