Interesting…call off against Barnsley but turn upto play Ossett…RFU need to have a serious look at Walkovers next season.

WPL v Barnsley AWO apparently... shame that.

I think than any this division has been hit hardest with post-covid participation. Sad to see. Big credit to all the clubs that have managed to put a side out for 26 matches. Hopefully 2022/23 brings a more stable season. Sad to see a club like West Park Leeds unable to put a side together again.

Why is that Sycamore?

I don't believe that there's any relegation at all this year

I hope you're wrong Caravanboys but feel you may be correct. It does seem that Otley, Wibsey, Knottingley & Hemsworth are in crisis mode. Let's hope that the summer brings some new players to the clubs and 2022/23 has no walkovers at all

Not going to happen though

How is a club like Bradford & Bingley only managing to get out 16 players for a league fixture

Seems to me as if Wharfedale 2’s should enter the league as Wharfedale Foresters and maybe the RFU should look at some kind of loan registration system. I can’t see sense in them winning the merit league every season with nowhere to go. I’m sure Skipton, North Ribb et Al. Probably wouldn’t like this idea. Unsure there’s a solution to benefit all parties unfortunately.

What would stop Wharfedale Foresters for example setting up as a Club in Yorkshire 4 playing out of the same club as Wharfedale and climbing through the leagues? Transferring players between both team where they saw fit?

I vaguely remember this happening with Harrogate Pythons, Doncaster Phoenix & Pontefract Pythons but I'm unsure of how the nuts & bolts actually worked?

To me it looks like a shootout between Selby & West Leeds for the final spot rather than Brid. Should be a good tussle between two good clubs. Selby on paper look to have a more favourable fixture list in my opinion but as you pointed out earlier differ anything can happen in sport!

Another great result for Salem Saturday Stella, hope you sunk a few after!!

I wouldn’t say insulting to WL. But there’s a 16 point gap between 4th & 6th with only 4 games to play. Brid would basically have to lose every match and pick up no BP’s at all and West Leeds would need to win every game.

They have to travel to Brid & play ponte who are on fire in that run. Not an easy ask. Happy to take a wager on though Differ if you’re so confident?

Well, most interesting, REALLY looking forward to next season and renewing old friendships we have missed over the last few years!
Good to get 3 local derby's back again. ( Malton, Pock and Scarbro)
Not so good having to play on brods mountain again though!!
Enjoy the last few games for us, win or loose looks like we are up!!

Surely cant be that confident at Dukes Park of promotion? Still to play West Leeds and Selby, I'm sure they both might have something to say about it. Maybe keep Arton's sparkling wine on ice for another couple of weeks.

Looking at the remaining fixtures I’d say it was just about a certainty that Brid would be in the top 5

That’s interesting, what did he do at Ripon?

Credit to the Hemsworth lads for showing us all how to get on by beating Barnsley!
Good competition down at Sandylands today, we felt we owed them on with our near miss at Burley earlier on in the season, close game but we're happy with the 4 points.
Sad times to see 3 walk overs 2 weeks on the bounce, Yorkshire leagues need to address this and give the clubs the support they need.

Congrats on the win Sheepy! Good turn around this season for Skipton. What's been the secret recipe for success?
