They still exist though eh

Haha 😂  timing.

30 years of paying big is actually pretty impressive.

I was on about “paying players” other day and I think it’s a bit like doing social drugs.
No one likes to admit they do it, its illegal, it can be exciting, we all know someone who does it and sometimes it can go very bad. But generally it’s none of my business. I don’t know the circumstances and it doesn’t change who they are or define them (usually)
I even get the same perverse satisfaction beating a paying club as I get staying out later than my mates who bang on it or out lifting the middle aged guy at gym who likes “juice” with his lunch.

Just a thought.
It’s pretty normal that it happens, you just gotta make your own choices.
Equally it’s not cool to wear a t shirt that reads “Say no to Drugs!

Oh man!

Poor spelling on a rugby forum that’s been deader than the grass for 3months.

Personal assault. He’s not even a real person. He’s a figment of BRBs imagination.

If your a mod ,I’m a rocker 8)

We know all about Scarborough’s famous bore, RHM. You’re only half right calling him a hole.

Rhymes with “farse”  ;D ;D

A lot of the amateur RL round me hasn’t played very much in the last month for different reasons.

From my point of view it’s not safe. Fortunately as captain I have a opportunity to elect not to play of the pitch isn’t suitably safe.
I’m sure there will be no sanctions from YRFU, not with IRB channeling a lot of enthusiasm towards looking after players heads. Head injuries are almost guaranteed on this hard ground. That’s before we start talking about the chance of dislocating shoulders , broken wrist etc.

With 5 weeks to the start of the season and promises of a red hot August. Are pitches going to be playable come the 1st September?

Is there any scope for a delayed start similar to what cricket do if it’s too wet?

Haha old women talking about vast sums of cash.

I think the Under 20 link is key. Instead of been short sighted and in peril of a fall down the league. Could pay off (pun not intended) for years having a load of 18/19 year old lads rock up and like it.

It can be as juicy as it likes do long as it’s not as wet/muddy as last season.

How about they scrap level transfers and work it from the top down.

NE teams coming down to regions are top 1,2 or 3 teams.
Then you restructure leagues accordingly below.

Y1 has 14 teams every year (like it or not.)
It would connect the league. Top of Y2 would have a keen interest in what’s happening at Y1 and NE1.
There’s no fixed number up and down. But it’d probably stop teams bottlenecking.
Clubs movement in and out of leagues taken over the span of say 15years, would mean more clubs played.
If you get a “Yo yo” in Y3/Y2 and one in Y2/Y1 it limits teams you play.

Just a thought
