We have friendlies organised against Birkenhead and Sandal. Cant wait to play again although im not risking driving to birkenhead for the first friendly. i dont want the alloys nicking off my car!

You would have managed i dont disagree but you wouldnt have had as much success. The likes of Dan storey/ yucca / paddy/ ben millar/ townsley/ jamie webb/ jono mcmillan/ dunny are all good players to come out of donny jnr setup and all been good players for you.

most of us came from doncaster mini jnr set up. same place half the wheatley squad from the last 5 years has come from. we rely on players coming up playing for us from it as have wheatley over the last few years

do you not think comments saying weve piggy backed on the knights success are disrespectful to the 60+ lads that have put in the hard work across 3 teams this year? but because a few of the squad are ex knights players weve somehow paid to win the league? very bitter if you ask me. Still a lot of the guys in the sqaud who played when we were in Yorkshire 3/4 and have been there the whole time myself included. most of the new faces are youngsters coming through the doncaster mini jnr section which is fantastic for the club

Just wanted to put something on here about the fact that Doncaster Phoenix wrapped up the league on Saturday against Brid. What a fantastic season its been across all levels of the club. Both our 1st and 2nd teams have won their respective leagues going unbeaten and its a great club to be a part of this year. we now run 3 teams and the Doncaster colts who feed into us have also won there league so rugby is thriving in our club and the future looks bright! I have played for the club for the last 12 years from being 17 years old and have played from Yorkshire 4 all the way through to playing against Brid on Saturday and cant say how proud i am to be part of the club right now. i know we get a lot of stick on here which i think is undeserved and just want to congratulate everyone involved at the club this year on a great season.
