Mr Magic,
you shouldnt suppose Hems will not travel. Even if true you will get no points from our Dictatorial judge Locked Out
for not predicting either way. Just saying. It might help you get another few points!!!!!!

My Apologies to Keighley
I should have said that we were very well received by them. They can expect the same on the reverse fixture in February.

The results are in and yet again the motion to allow the bigger clubs 2nd XVs into the league system has been repulsed by the clubs in Yorkshire. Well done to all you local rugby clubs whose very existence this may have affected. The sixty or so who did not vote. Please be aware that this will come around again in the near future and be ready for it. The punitive 66%
required to keep it out seems odd, to say the least, when we live in democratic society. However, thats how the powers that be dictate what happens so please be ready for the next vote in a couple of years or so.

Fantastic game at Keighley today with two good sides going  hammer and tong against each other. In front of a bumper crowd of, imo, 700 plus . Ribb tried to go for the corner several times but could not score. Alex Brown dropped a goal with two minutes left to put the hosts a point in front. Ribb then got a penalty at the death and kicked it from the half way line. Phew, what a game , and it was everything that is good in local sport. Two good rugby clubs with nothing between them. Played in good spirit and enjoyed by many.
Great day for the Ribb supporters.

Mr Locked,
no juggernauts in Settle. But we do have an international couple of lads. But we are still locally based and lads wanting to play at Ribb.
Good luck tomorrow.

Oh Dear,
god forbid a decent club giving some game time to any players who just want to play a game of rugby on a Saturday. Whats wrong you you people who constantly moan about lack of players, then openly criticise those clubs for whom they play for when they turn out for the second XV. You should be glad that such people are still in our game whoever they play for. Get a life.

PBP,
I know its all in jest. I must say it is great to have a few having a go at Ribb after several years of under achievement  with an less than all conquering team as we now seem to have. Under no illusions we will reach our zenith soon but enjoying it while it lasts.

Mr Large Tummied Propster,
I note your barbed comment with a wry smile. We at Ribb are in a sweet spot at the moment after years of bringing on a group of players of the same age group who are loyal to the club and enjoying their success together, which coupled with good coaching means they want to stay and play together.
Long may it continue.

good to see you have not lost the use of your fingers!!!! Your absence has been notable. Please convey our best wishes from North Ribb to all at Selby. I dont mean this to sound disrespectful, but, we may converge and play each other again next season. If that is so we at Ribb will certainly look forward to making your acquaintance again. And competing for the Sheep Shaggers Trophy once again.
Regards to Sally !!

If York are sustaining themselves at level 5 without remunerating players. That is testimony to a well run establishment of which you should be justifiably proud . York have always been a good club to visit in my experience. Unfortunately our fortunes seem to have diverged somewhat recently hence us not playing each other. We are endeavouring to close the gap but you seem out of reach at the moment.
Good Luck.
