Wibsey beat York by 10 points to 3 on the second pitch , the conditions were as bad as they could have been with rain hammering sideways making it a arm wrestle, the Wibsey team having to dig deep in the second half up the hill....all credit to the York lads stayed back for plenty of ale and the England game after the match ...other teams could take a leaf out of their book

Surprisingly knaresbrough found a team to stuff Mosbrough 21-0
The big pitch must have been too much for Hessle losing 14-7 again LMD
Ossett sealed promotion beating bramley 29-6

I can see why teams get beat at LMD with todays pathetic stalling tactics before the game and size of the pitch, could cause some teams to freeze, but Wibsey had there best start to a game for some time .
When it was fast and loose LMD  looked half decent but in the tight they were poor.
At one point Wibsey were down to 13 and the student still looked bclueless, so poor in fact the fat grey haired old scrum half fell over the line to get a try
The wibsey pack bossed it today with the LMD boys more interested in looking the part rather than actually being any good.

I see the other half of the league is fast becoming a joke with HOW every week now and how come the Osset game was postponed

On a blustery day in wibsey a knaresbrough team came to upset the apple cart by beating the league leading home side.
The first half was a  close affair with neither side taking control of the game .
The knaresbrough stand out player from previous years the golden haired center departed the pitch with a knock to the head.

The wibsey fines master will have been rubbing his hands together with glee as the ginger Robertson saw yellow ( decent I believe) as did his balding center partner for a high late shot.

I'm still yet to see wibsey play a game without conceding any needless yellow cards.

Ultimately wibsey we're never in real  danger of losing the game as when knaresbrough got in good position they came up with a unforced handling errors
For note Wibsey had a new half back pair of a old man and young whipper snapper .

Anyone can beat anyone in this league but surely it's wibseys to loose in this half of Yorkshire 4

Burley beat the still win less fax neither side deciding to defend by the look of the score line

Knaresbrough took the spoils at home to thirsk no surprise there

LMD winning against Bramley can only mean the students are done with fresher week

Nestle beat Mosbrough, the moss men must only like playing at home but good win for nestle

Oaks giving out walk over wins again already in the season I thought they might at least wait for the bad weather to be here

Ossett stuffed Stockbridge and on Stockbridge home ground as well, Ossett look the real deal

York will be gutted losing by a point at home to Hessle but gotta take heart losing by only 1 point

No yellow cards for Wibsey this week well done ladies your fines masters will be gutted

Wibsey have week off this week so at least they won't have anyone in the sin bin

Burley v fax, Fax surely due a win if the play the slope well

Knaresbrough v thirsk ,local derby could throw up a surprise but can  only see a knaresbrough win

LMD v bramley Phoenix, LMD are a decent ball playing side and will win ...the bramley forwards will need to dominate if they want the result

Nestle v Mosbrough, away win for me

Stanley rods v oaks , rods to just win

Stockbridge v Osset, someone's 0 has gotta go will be a tight affair but home advantage likely to see Stockbridge win

York v Hessle , York with a home win

Wibsey beaten 7-15 by Rotherham Phoenix,
What was for the most part a good game between two teams trying to play rugby was spoiled somewhat by some strange refereeing decisions.
One of which was to bin a player only to let him come back on the field not 2 minutes later and swap another player to the sidelines  .
The strange decisions lead to a scuffle (mainly handbags) . Of the 3 yellow cards ( all for the home team) 2 of them spent 5 mins actually in the bin.
I am not one for bashing the referee it's a tough job and without them there would be no game but the standard of some of the officials needs to be looked at

Just wondering how clubs at this level are managing to sign new players and how there going at keeping existing ones, I know some sides have or are close to getting second teams out how are they affect by injuries and missing numbers
