Woody give us a wave. Woody, woody give us a wave!

Oh you don't like to be beside the seaside ...

Yorkshire 2 / Promotion
« on: January 19, 2020, 01:42:11 PM »
With both Ripon and Wheatley Hills losing yesterday, is the gap too large for either of them to make up over 10 games? Are Old Rish and Roundhegians now in a shootout for the title with promotion pretty much sewn up or can people see either of them slipping up to bring 3rd and 4th back in to it?

Yorkshire 2 / North Ribblesdale
« on: April 14, 2019, 01:34:07 PM »
At the back end of last year North Ribb said the longest farewell to Yorkshire one ever witnessed to man.

I found the 'see you soon' nature of their farewell extremely arrogant and they definitely seemed to think they would stroll back in to Y1.

Having seen them finish mid table it is clear this attitude hasn't served them well and they've had a bit of a shocker this season.

They are home to 2 of the most outspoken members of the forum who often aim jibes at other clubs way of doing things. I wonder if those same members have got anything to say on their poor season this term.

Yorkshire 1 / Crunch time

With things all sorted at the top of the table last week focus switches to the foot of the table today.

Different results can lead to many scenarios. Anybody brave enough to predict what they think might happen?

100% confirmed no changes to the league structure next year.

Yorkshire 1 / Champions
« on: March 23, 2019, 11:43:34 AM »
I believe Moortown will today be champions with them picking up a bonus point win against a below par brods and heath failing to get the bonus point (or even the win) against a grizzly Dinnington side.

A dinnington win would make the last few weeks of the season very interesting.

Fixtures out on Thursday.

Welcome to Guisborough I'm told.

Yorkshire 1 / End of year report
« on: April 23, 2018, 12:19:27 PM »
With most teams now done for the season, how would people rate the success or otherwise of each club. Obviously York have had a fantastic season and I'm sure both Moortown and Old Rish will be happy with how their seasons have panned out but what about the rest? Has anyone over or underachieved? Will some be sitting there ruing missed opportunities? Who will already be fancying their chances next season?
