is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the yorkshire 1 board seems to be far more heavily moderated by the facists who run these boards (well, one in particular - the colourful equine lover) than by any of the other divisions boards?

i call for a revolution people, let's oust these oppressive, stalinist bullies and reclaim these boards as our own. let free speech prevail. our country is a democracy, not a redhorsemanocracy.

the revolution starts here!



and if it fails i challenge red horseman to a sprint around aintree. it'll be the knackers yard for him after that for sure!

further to the last topic i started (i'm on a roll today) what do you think should be teams' focus for pre-season? fitness? basic skills? gamplan/tactics? set-pieces?

should teams focus equally on all of these elemnets or prioritise on one or two? at this level which are the most important areas to develop?

we've heard different predictions about who's going to do what next season, but in light of which clubs have recruited/lost players in the off-season, which teams do you think will be stronger/weaker in comparison to last season?

*obviously those teams promoted/relegated will be something of an unknown quantity.

after reading brb's posts about notifying the oppsition of your teams strengths and weaknesses, i wondered what people's thoughts were on preperation. is it more important to be prepared as a team and play to your strengths, and not really worry about the opposition, or is it important/wise to prepare for how your opposition plays and play accordingly? thoughts?

further to RH's last post in the 'player being prosecuted' thread. do we think that coaches have a moral obligation not to pick players who continually intend to cause harm, through foul play, to an opponent. or should they select the player and let the referee/authorities deal with that player as they see fit, should he be continually carded.

Interesting read.

Thoughts anyone? Personally, I agree with the author of the article. It adds entertainment to the game. Ashton is a super player and earns the right to celebrate his tries by constantly being in the right place at the right time to cross the white-wash. Fair play to the lad.
