I was going to York today to watch the mighty Scarborough run in lots more tries. We were late setting off, as all you married men will understand. I decided that rather than take my trusty motor i'd take the father in laws mpv as it had way more diesel in the tank and while he's away he told me to use it. Got to that bloody awful ring road and got stuck in traffic, until the Haxby roundabout that is. Then the clutch went, totally. Aaaaaarrrggghhhhh! I've spent the rest of the afternoon waiting while all the traffic grinned as they drove past in cars that work, before sitting in a recovery van all the way back home.
What a waste of an afternoon, pleae tell me we won after all that hassle. I don't think i could take it if we lost as well.
