I think I can speak for the rest of the lads at Bramley in that we are also buzzing about the prospect of playing in this league. A lot of the teams, we have never played before and personally I’m looking forward to playing somewhere new against unknown opposition.
I couldn’t really call it at this point but definitely look forward to the challenge.

OO's turned up to Bramley with 14 men with no hooker. The match was called around 50 mins due to a neck injury to an OO's player. Score at this point was 50-0 to Bramley. Fair play to the lads that turned up for Otley, gave their best until the above moment and hope the lad from Otley gets better soon 👏

Just had a quick look on the updates from the RFU. I didn't see anything about the season being cancelled for open age rugby.
I did see that rugby will not commence in October but there will be an update on the 2nd October. Probably much like this months update and we will be moving to Phase E in the first week on October. Fingers crossed for proper rugby starting soon though.

To miss out of promotion by 0.23 has to feel crushing. I'm sure we'll be seeing York again soon though. Well done to Burley. Personally, I'm glad we can keep the local rivalry going 👍. Theres a lot of games for us to look forward to next season, whenever that will be.

We are taking it one game at a time. Its looking to be getting quite tight at the top and we are still a work in progress but its looking good, in patches, for next season and beyond.

Thirsk v Oaks - Thirsk win, youth on their side.
Medics v Hessle - Medics at home are fairly good. I can't see anything else but a Medics win.
Knaresborough v Rowntrees - Rowntrees win.
Stockbridge v Halifax - Stocks had 25-30mins of scrums in one spot at ours the other week and looked to be in their element. Both teams like a scrum from experience. Halifax to take this one though.... I think.
York v Burley - Hope Burley can do us a favour and keep the York lads off our tails. Burley Win.
Mosborough v Mods - Mosborough are very good at home and blew us away in the first 10 when we went. Mosborough Win.
Stanley Rods v Bramley Phoenix - Bramley will be looking for a win. A win will give us a bit of breathing space for the time being.
