Regional Two (North & North East) / Re: Todays results (2nd Sept)
« on: September 03, 2023, 12:41:27 AM »Bet the Moortown Balti House wreckin crew will be gorging themselves on humble pie tonight.can’t recall any gorging from Moortown- so that’s a pretty unfair comment. Goole were absolutely excellent- great defence, fitness, speed and attitude. Totally deserved the win. 👏👏👏
Very well done to the Goolies. That must be your best result for many years.

Town brushed Penrith aside this afternoon 64-31. I believe it’s a trip to play Old Northamptonians in the next round. What do the Ponte contingent here think?

I think Town's first game of the season was at Pocklington and whilst the score looked comfortable, the game was a tough one and Pock pushed Town all the way - ill discipline was their downfall. I'm sure Town won't be taking the game lightly.
Anyways - Go M&N!

Sounds a corker of a game over in Malton - final score 30-37 to Moortown.

Brass monkey weather at Yarnbury - bonus point win for Town but close game 32-24 I think.

« on: December 11, 2022, 03:43:58 PM »Pretty much all the clubs in our league use Instagram or Twitter for updates and a handful of clubs post weekly, good content.
Both Town and Scarbs posted about changes in venue and times etc.
Facebook and especially websites are extremely outdated. Unfortunately, you’ll have to get with the times or be forever frustrated like your above post.
That Moortown pigeon is a godsend.

Town just didn’t click today or take the chances they have been putting away - it happens.
