I can confirm it was a break down in communication between the 2s manager (me) and our fixture secretary, who didn't pick my message up till he arrived at ilkley on Saturday, an apology has been sent and lessons learnt, despite this we can recognise it wasn't good enough and won't happen again.

I was at knottingley on Saturday (assuming our fix sec had got my message and cancelled the ilkley game!) and didn't see much evidence of arrogance from our traveling support who can be very opinionated and vocal, mostly towards our own lads!

Knott were the better side on the day and the boys will dust them selves off, re group, and go full blooded in to a derby at Heath on Saturday, that everyone is looking forward to and will no doubt be a belter of a game, with a brods win come Saturday evening.

Fair enough and sorry to hear that. Yes they were both good games. Hope everyone gets better. We have some fixture gaps coming up in the next month so lets try and get a game together.

Yea it's never good always sounds like an excuse but it does happen! I'll get onto our fix sec see if we can get something sorted.

Sorry about Saturdays game Kronos, hit by a nasty bug in both ones and 2s on Friday, which left us even more stretched than we already were! Were top games both last year hopefully we can sort something out latter in the season.

Targeting players that are playing well with cheap shots (elbows and knees, big high shots), stamping, late hits etc have been my experiances of Playing at Wheatley, apart from this season when they were a decent set of lads who tried to play a good brand of rugby.

Brods are definately a good side and it's nice to see te hard work paying off for them, when we played them the score flattered them a little, they created plenty of opertunities to score and were very unlucky not to come away with something , apart from ours brods have one of the best scrums in the league , although their are a few I have not seen yet, loose head a quality player for this level, they will cause some upsets this year

dont say that, his perfectly round head will get even bigger!

We played at Bramley last weekend against the 2s and even with them on the end of a beating there was no nasty stuff, good set of lads.

Only played against cas once there were a few unsavoury incidents! worst team ive played for that kind of stuff has been wheatley hills by a mile!

thats right, but I dont  Brods had any rope to put barriers up as thier 1st team pitch has barriers all the way round.
Only 1 complaint yesterday
was promised a car wash but it dint happen!

That will have been my u17s, lazy buggers they are!

Spoken to a mate if mine who plays at Heath and its a spiral fracture of tib and fib, hope the lad makes a speedy recovery.
