York charge £8. With a discount  for OAP,s I believe.
But everyone pays apart from the freeloaders!!

Does that include transport from the Clubhouse to the Pitch ?

£7 across the board at Driffield.

Like how Ponte do it. Think it’s a reasonable split for Members and non members

I agree - nice idea ! I recall paying at Ponte. Haven’t been to Driff yet, though I usually have the lunch.

All taking lunch at Ilkley don’t pay at the gate.

As a matter of interest, what do other Clubs charge ? A tenner at Harrogate I think.

Doncaster P v Cleckheaton - the winners inch their way towards safety, the losers slip deeper into trouble. Narrrow away win, but at least one point for Donny.

Driffield v Blaydon - a reasonably comfortable home win.

Harrogate v Scunthorpe - ditto.

Heath v York - MOTD for sure. Purely on home advantage, I’m going for Heath.

Ilkley v Pontefract - this will be very close with a much-changed Ilkley team on show. I think home advantage will give the Dalesmen the win, but I expect Ponte to get at least one bonus point.

Sandal v Alnwick - another close home win, but again, bonus points for the losers.

Harrogate v Doncaster P - a comfortable home win.

Heath v Alnwick - less comfortable, but another home win.

Sandal v Cleckheaton - big game for both Clubs and I fancy Cleck, just.

Scunthorpe v Blaydon - Scunny much improved, so I think they will edge this.

Ilkley v Driffield - tricky. Head says Driffield are the more consistent, heart says Ilkley need it more. Home win.

Good game at Scunny today, with unfancied Ilkley nearly snatching a justified draw. Two points gained were well earned. Otherwise quite happy with my predications.

We are sorry to have lost two players to Harrogate. Nuff said.

Today’s winners….

Alnwick - comfortably
Blaydon - ditto
Heath - narrowly
Harrogate - comfortably
Ilkley - very narrowly
York - ditto

And a Happy New Year to all here.

Cleck v Blaydon - I rather fancy Cleck for this, though not by many. A lot of laundry to follow this match.

Doncaster P v York - one-sided away win for me.

Harrogate v Alnwick - ‘gate surely will have woken up to the fact that you have to kick your penalties. Narrow home win.

Heath v Scunthorpe - can’t see past a typical ground out win for the Heavies.

Ilkley v Sandal - a comfortable home win on paper, but as the old adage goes, you don’t play on paper. Dalesmen to sneak a win though.

Z is for Driffield v Ponte - Driff will have far too much firepower for the Allsorts

Harrogate 12.18 Ilkley. First time since 1961 apparently!

Safe bet, blaming the computer ! Thanks anyway.

Alnwick v Blaydon - nice place, Alnwick. Nice people too. A narrow away win though.

Harrogate v Ilkley - oh dear. It’s a big ask - but if you don’t ask, you don’t get. A historic away win. Just.

Pontefract v Donny - home win with something to spare.

Sandal v Heath - too much fire-power from the Heavies. Away win.

Scunthorpe v Driffield - the Woldsmen to grind out a win. Just.

York v Cleckheaton - comfortable-ish home win.

PS Why is the Driffield fixture always last on the list, as per the RFU site ? It offends my sense of alphabetical order.

A real ding-dong at Stacks Field yesterday as Alnwick avenged their early season home loss with a very narrow win. Diabolical conditions at the end and all credit to both sets of players.

Ilkley’s “dodgy scrum” got two of their three tries. Alnwick had a penalty try and one more by the right wing - but they kicked all their goals, bar one.

Blaydon v York - sticking with the “Blaydon won’t lose at home” theory.

Cleckheaton v Pontefract - a massive fixture indeed. Going for a narrow home win.

Donny P v Scunthorpe - tricky ( amongst others ) I’m going for Scunny. Just.

Driffield v Sandal - home win banker.

Heath v Harrogate - should be the definition of a slugfest. Harrogate’s second defeat of the season.

Ilkley v Alnwick - a comfortable away win for the Dalesmen earlier on. Perhaps less so this time, but a home win.

Harrogate v Doncaster P - an armchair ride for ‘gate for the full five.

Heath v Alnwick - two weeks of long away trips for the Northumbrians and the first of two losses in Halifax. Maybe a BP though.

Ilkley v Driffield - sorry to be missing this. Usually a fast, open and high-scoring game with the home side prevailing.

Pontefract v York - the Allsorts will put up a good fight, but can’t see them getting anything from this. York to win by quite a few.

Sandal v Cleckheaton - I quite fancy Cleck for this one, though not sure why. Close though, with BP’s all round.

Scunthorpe v Blaydon - another close one, but an away win.
