Halifax Vandals v Old Otliensians - If it happens, Vandals by a few
Hemsworth v Knottingley - Hemsworth hoping to get an improved side together for this. Will have them to spring a surprise
Ossett v West Park Leeds - Lead to believe this game isn't happening?
Sheffield Medicals v Harrogate Pythons - Game of the day. Depending when you catch them, Meds very tricky at home, but will take Harrogate by a score
Skipton v Barnsley - Battle of the packs. Think Barnsley, if they travel, will have enough to win this by a few scores
Hemsworth v Knottingley - Hemsworth hoping to get an improved side together for this. Will have them to spring a surprise

Barnsley v Wibsey - If it happens, you've got to fancy Barnsley by more than a few
Bramley Phoenix v Castleford - Game of the day. Watched Bramley at the start of the season and couldn't understand how they were winning. It appears to have become a habit for them and tbh the last time i saw them just before Christmas they looked a lot better team than previously. No superstars but as a team they work very well. Cas, as is the case with most in this league, it all depends which week you get them on. If its there week i may have called this completely wrong, but going with the Green machine at home.
Burley v Ossett - Ossett confuse me. On the few occasions i've seen them, at times they look decent, but every week when i see the results they seem to have lost and normally by a few scores? Burley on the other hand look average, but seem to be able to pick up the odd win here and there. Going with home advantage.
Hemsworth v Sheffield Medicals - Speaking to a Hemsworth lad last week and it appears they are counting down the weeks until the end of the season. Not good a couple of weeks after Christmas! If the students turn up with a reasonable side, they should win by a few.
Knottingley v Old Otliensians - If it happens, Knotts buy a few
Skipton v Halifax Vandals - Another even game. 2 packs that like to spoil. Depends who Vandals travel with, but anything like, and they should have too much for Skipton

Early predictions based solely on the last season played and the odd bit of social media i've come across.....
1 to 4 - WPL, Knotts, Pythons & OO in any order
5 to 10 - Cas, Wibsey, Ossett, Bramley, Vandals & Shef Meds in any order
11 to 14 - Barnsley, Burley, Skipton, Hemsworth in any order
Baildon seem to be having a decent push and although Corinths would probably like to not have to find a new coach, if they get that right and keep the players they had, they will be fine in Y2. I cant wait to just get back watching every Sat. Good luck to all.

Congratulations to Leeds & Baildon, commiserations to Knottingley who must feel a little hard done by. There was always going to be somebody unhappy with the outcome, i just hope they stick with it, and come back strong for another go next year.
Thanks to all teams for a competitive season. There has been some great rugby watched in some not so great conditions.

Castleford v Sheffield Medicals - Cas in decent form. I'm hearing they are gearing up for a big push at promotion next year? Never sure how the students will travel. Will give this one a miss
Halifax Vandals v Knottingley - Tough trip, but Knottingley should have more to play for
Harrogate Pythons v Ossett - After last weeks win on the road, i cant see Harrogate slipping up at home
Old Otliensians v Hemsworth (double header) - JOKER - Long day for Hemsworth
Wibsey v Rotherham Phoenix - Rotherham free fall to continue

Leeds to go up as champions as they have the points on the board and appear to have the easier of the 3 run ins. A few twists and turns for 2nd place i reckon, with a few tricky away fixtures left for both teams.

Baildon v Ossett - Baildon to keep the pressure on Knottingley with an easy enough home win.
Castleford v Leeds Corinthians - Leeds, but not by a lot. Cas on the up i am told?
Harrogate Pythons v Hemsworth - JOKER - Long day for Hemsworth
Knottingley v Wibsey (double header) - With 10 pts at stake, this game could have a big say on the final league standings. Depending how Wibsey travel, there could be an upset on the cards, but will take Knotts with home advantage. Should be a good game to watch, with neither team giving an inch.
Rotherham Phoenix v Sheffield Medicals - The students on current form should win this easy, but i'm never sure with Phoenix, especially at home, so will leave this alone

Aireborough v Harrogate Pythons - On paper it should be Pythons by a few, but Aire seem to be improving and Pythons doing the opposite. Will go with Pythons, but only cos i cant pick a winner at Cas.

Ossett v Old Otliensians - I went and watched the game when the lad unfortunately got the injury last time. Ossett, i believe, were in the lead at the time of the call off, and from where i was stood they looked like they would be extending that lead in the last 20 rather than OO's coming back. Having said that, If OO's 10 & 15 can get hold of the ball a bit more regularly, i fancy OO's to win by a couple of scores
