"Also who was this?

The comedy moment of the day saw a Wath player break through the Lincoln defence, run clear under the posts, but a sudden and unexpected attack of “cramp” combined with a tackle from Ben Cummings saw the ball knocked out of his hands and no try."

Our full back 19 years old, he had a very good game that moment aside but he will not be allowed to live that down for a very long time!

No we don't have a player coach but certainly have benefited from players return. The lads as you say went on to bigger clubs which is of course great for them, when they were old or have families they have returned luckily for us around the same season, our colts played yours early in the season and it is clear to me both clubs have very strong youth teams which can only benefit both clubs.

Just browsing- only 1 player from cleck :) number 8 matt burrows played with us in the 08/09 season and came back this year, 2 from ionians but one signed last season just before the deadline. Will certainly be a good game against unknown opposition, hoping it will help assess how we will do next year at level 8. Again ours will be the same team we put out week in week out all our stats incl appearances tries scored etc are available on our website:) as i know guisbro's are

I think over 10 appearances for the 1st XV constitutes a 1st teamer of which there were a few, i dont disagree some were 3rd Xv on another thread the rules state they cannot have played more than 5 which is probably a bit harsh but Barnsley were disqualified for that, anyways like i said not the issue here there is no doubt the final is going to be very tough for both sides will certainly help us at Wath assess how we will do next year

But that is another issue and i don't think for a second either side is going to put loads of points on the other, it will undoubtedly be a tight game and hopefully an entertaining one

Also fatlad, look on the sheffield website a little closely and the team wath played on wednesday, calling that team we played a second team looks wrong to me!

Again fair point RL but put yourself in Aire's boots sure you'd feel complaining was justified, us at Wath are just looking forward to the game after the lads get a bit of a rest before 15th.

RL you are right but as Jim said surely the order should go league, cup, friendly!
