How has preseason gone for everyone

Just wondering how preseason has gone for everyone.
Ossett opted for just two matches. Two wins from two.
Can’t wait for next Saturday!

Wasn’t there so unsure of quality but trees beat Thirsk today.  Few injuries for Trees plus a couple of players missing but glad to have a run out after bp chemicals cancelled on us last week.  7 debutants in a squad match which is a great sign for our club

Skipton.vs Fax, good run out for both. Both sides with key playera missing, good to.see Fax with lots of players. 29 all a fair result after first 30 minutes Skipton looked like they were going run up a cricket score, Fax fought back well, help by 12 penalties on the bounce against Skipton with in a 10 minute period. Some good core skills and passion on show. Some.work to do on patterns and shape from both.

North West I think will be all home wins.
Knaresborough always good at home with their back line.
Thirsk to continue there improvement as a team as they have the past few seasons.
Wibsey to be too strong up front for Halifax.

South West
Got a feeling hessle will compete for 60mins then ossett run away with it
Mossborough will have far too much for oaks
Rods vs York will be a close one, think rods will bounce back from a bit of a poor season last year. Although I think York will just nick it
Stocksbridge to have an easy day in my opinion, will be a tough season for them as it was a couple of years ago when Withernsea joined from the merit league.

Hearing that York RI played Whitby in a pre-season game on Sunday, losing 5-0. They also couldn’t raise a side to go to Castleford the previous weekend.

- Knaresborough to beat Burley, home advantage on a dry track with their backs.
- Thirsk to continue last season’s form with a win over Bramley
- Wibsey’s home advantage to tell, hearing the rumours of Halifax’s recruitment aren’t true.

- Ossett too strong for Hessle at home
- Comfortable win for Mosborough at Oaks
- York RI to win at Rods if conditions are good
- Stocksbridge to beat Rowntrees

Bang on the money, teams are gonna be strong at home this year. Looking forward to the student influx at Leeds dentists and medics see how they fair after relegation. Gonna be a tough year with a few surprises depending on home advantage. Dilly Dilly
