East Yorkshire has 5 sides in this league, but so have West Yorkshire.

With B and B failing to impress so far, West Leeds, another preseason favourite coming unstuck at Morley!

Is it going to be YMCA who emerge as the strongest contenders for league glory from the Wessies?

West Leeds for me with ease.
Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level.

Was hoping some of the West Yorkshire contingent might also express an opinion! Are there many out there BRB?

It was a tight game with not much in it to be honest, conditions played a part as it was a pure deluge for 60 minutes with dropped balls all over the place but either side could have won that game and felt like they were worthy winners based on performance. No idea what YMCA have done recruitment wise - we lost over there last year, we were shocking on the day, they were just as bad when we beat them at ours, its hard to say who is going to run away with it outside York... all results so far have been really tight with the exception of York last week and M&N this week, long may it continue!
Rugby may have many problems, but the gravest is undoubtedly that of the persistence of summer

Agreed!

My association with York only goes back to 1996 and in them days I wasn't too bothered what the senior section were up to? other than stamping out any positive contributions from the youth section!

So can those in the know enlighten me as to any previous history between York and Morley other than their win at Clifton Park in the past few years in the Yorkshire Cup?
