Your mates talking a load of old toffee...
Woodward had a business plan that was tweaked over a long period of over four years prior to RWC success.. He wasn't a brilliant coach but he was a brilliant 'director'. He is also a very clever and astute man.
Wilkinson could be employed as a specialist kicking coach but who has he coached ? He also happens to be a very astute individual.
Johnson has obvious issues with coaching not only England but anybody.
Would these three take on a job only months out from a major tournament ? Only if they had been drinking consistently with your mate.
It is the players that are the problem. Woodward had players in at least 6 positions who would have made it into a World XV. Not only clever but he was also very very lucky.
How many such players does Eddie Jones have?
I heard from one of my mates who knows a 'person' who says that Jeremy Corbyn isn't happy with how things are run so he is going to nationalise the national team for internationals and all home games will be played at Huyton park under floodlights powered by fairyfarts!
Balder balls old boy!
