Evening Gents,
A quick couple of questions
1. How many players can you use in the shield games?
2. Do you have to fill a match card in?

County Handbook (last season) says as per Reg13 App2.
This says as per organising committee.

Priceless!!!

On that basis, 3 on bech, 8 interchanges.
No mention of card. Assume you have to inform the relevant committee man.

Great game tonight between Keighly and Heath. Keighly came out firing and looked dangerous. They are certainly not the worst team in the league. They were missing their star 10 who was at the club watching but did not play. Is he injured or being rested? The pitch was amazing to play on and allowed for some free flowing rugby. Keighly have a lot of talented players. Just need to start backing each other up.

A good game of rugby and as expected Heath`s big forwards dominated the game with some good back play a result of this, Keighley did not let their heads drop and played a big part in the game, although most of  it in defence.  There was a decent crowd as well with quite a few neutrals, so perhaps where the cup can be played under lights this might be the way forward.

The match at Keighley was very entertaining last night.   The first 20 minutes were very keenly contested and Keighley were unlucky not to score.  However, once Heath's dominant pack took a stranglehold on possession the writing was on the wall.  The Keighley scrum was under intense pressure throughout the game.

Credit must go to Keighley who never gave up. Indeed they scored an excellent try with the last play of the game.

Well done to both sides for putting on a great game, worth of cup rugby.  Good luck to Heath in the next round !

Is that a double header or are you travelling back to Dinno next week? Good win for Ensians.
