Is that a double header or are you travelling back to Dinno next week? Good win for Ensians.
no my understanding is Dinno didn't want a double header. So we sent a development squad

Bev 32-34 Town. Pulsating end to end stuff, victory claimed with a penalty in the dying moments of the game.

Closer than most people thought I would imagine, I take it Moortown rested a few.

Both teams had players unavailable/injured or rested. But it was a brilliant game, attack was the main part of the day. Moortown were fantastic at capitalising on mistakes by Beverley and their 10 smashed over a penalty in the last minute to take it. Great game.

Good effort from Beverley as they are probably a Y2 club now.
Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level. Lucky to be involved in England's number one ranked level 7 league...Yorkshire One.

Boro v Salem

Posponed again. Waterlogged pitch.
Informed us just as we were getting on the bus.
On the up side, club was open for all 3 Internationals. Mistake was heading into Bingley afterwards.

Assuming we don't get dragged into the relegation battle, i'm guessing the league fixture will be ignored and the Cup match will be decided on the toss of a coin.

I think, when the previous game was cancelled and no-one wanted to play on the Saturday before Christmas, the league said Easter Saturday would have to become a possible match day.

They did. but they've done it before.

Last year rish and ull ended up playing a home double header for rish at Ponte midweek! Could that also be an option?

Mk

Nice to have you back...think both clubs have to agree on it but it does seem the obvs solution ...the shield is a complete farce ..nobody cares until its the final.

Well done to your boys by the way.. easily best team I've seen this season.

Brods and Town play next week in the league. With a cup semi final to play a double header has been suggested

Would like to here the logic behind this decision.. seems a waste of a perfect opportunity to get the game wrapped up and out of the way from both angles!

Brods probably feel they have got a better chance if the game isn't played on a league Saturday!
