Wetherby 10 - 24 Ripon: Not one to gloat, but Ripon's tenacity helped them bash out a solid first win over Wetherby in all competitions in recent years. Solid pressure from the home scrum took its toll, but the Wetherby defence wasn't up to its usual strength, hence a 0 - 24 second half.

WPL 24 North Ribb 26. A game played in vile weather conditions on a bone hard all weather pitch later to be covered in ice due to freezing rain. A brave effort from both teams. Park's dangerous backs versus Ribb's tenacity. Tenacity counted in the end. Park must vie with Goole for the best side we have played this season.
