Knottla 39 - 22 Leeds Mods

We made hard work of that but secured the try bonus point in the first half. Played well in patches but kept Leeds in the game in usual Knottla style but at 7 tries to 3 we can't complain. Good luck to Mods for the rest of the season and I can see them picking up a few wins soon.

Knottingley 39 - 22 Leeds Modernians
Leeds Corinthians 7 - 11 Thornensians

Close games for all the top 6 today. Carbon copy of last years game against Hemsworth for us today. Got a couple of scores clear, should have scored more to make the game safe, didn’t, made too many errors, Hemsworth got their heads up and played well to regain the lead with minutes to go. Difference between this season and last season was that our heads didn’t go down and we fought till the end to retake the lead with a last minute penalty. Credit to Hemsworth for their very effective game plan, very pleased to be coming away with 5 points today.

Knottla, after the Wembley game last week (Pomfesian) seem to have faired well again , how did you get on  at Cas????????????
