Many of you will know our ex captain and talisman Foxy , the big second row if you’re not sure.
As mentioned on a previous thread we’re losing his services for probably the rest of the season for an extraordinary reason.
Tomorrow, Chris is donating one of his kidneys to his sister who has been ill for quite a while; now I’m sure we’d all like to think we’d do the same in his situation but to actually do it takes some balls.
I’m sure all in Yorkshire rugby wish them both all the very best for tomorrow and the future.
Sums the bloke up, he really is a top top man.

Can't really add anything to this - amazing thing to do. The very best if luck to them both.
Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level. Lucky to be involved in England's number one ranked level 7 league...Yorkshire One.

Chris is an outstanding player on the pitch and an outstanding man off it!

Hopefully his team mates will come together and deliver him just the tonic an away win at PP!

Just to update everyone.

the operation went as well as could be hoped for. Chris is back home (Saturday evening he was discharged) convalescing.

So far so good for his sister who is responding well to his immense gesture, fingers crossed going forward.
