Let's have another.
Assuming Moortown (or who ever) finishes top. How will you feel if you don't get promoted because some committee feel they know best and 12 team Leagues are the way to go?

All we can do is win the league! What will be will be.
You are aware they are proposing no promotion this season?

For the illiterate few on this forum... I shall reiterate my question for a debate... (again)

Is it worth investing on the on-field abilities first or investing in the club infrastructure and culture to breed the former?

Apologise if my original post was clowded by the one eyed.

Your comment was a cheap shot at Town! Change the record and bore off. Mule.

Glad to see you can finally come back with a reasoned response. Thanks.

No worries, just pointing out the double standards in their desperate attempt to placate those who walked away. And yes, those clubs have their reasons but to pull a fast one like they are doing is somewhat dodgy.

Of the 3 proposals only 1 would result in no promotion. I would think option 1 or 3 would make most sense IMO as it probably involves less “hassle”.

Good game today at Town and the best team won on the day,to question towns facilities is wrong,a junior club like most are in Yorkshire 1.The club was bought  from going under,to getting promoted however it’s been done,Is fair  play especially,to CJT.I was there till late  lots of players still there and I suppose on big games maybe the players/alikeados could go in the function room but I suggest it’s agains everything that Moortown are about.Good luck for rest of the season and we will bounce back next week UTH

Think this is a very poor statement made by the person who made such a comical comment about the moortown club! Having attended and observed a well fought out tie at the top of the table it’s fair to say the better team won on the day... after 20 minutes it was a tie that could have seen something approaching a cricket score if Heath hadn’t of battled back to make the fixture somewhat competitive.

After the game, both teams were in great spirits, one proud of their efforts, one very humble in defeat... shown by their attendance in their bar into the latter of the evening socialising and congratulating the opposition!

Personally I doubt that the above comment is from the travelling side today... well not from the important people anyway as the players and supporters were all humble and accepting of today’s result..
It’s dissapointing to see what a great game and a heavily contested top end of the table has resulted in with comments like these!
Congratulations to both clubs in which rugby was truly the winner, but further congratulations to moortown who have cemented the No.1 spot for probably the rest of the season... as for Heath... all eyes on next week down at the west vale in which ponte are hot on the heals!!

Is anyone capable of reading the question or has the 5 pint fear set in?

But what your insinuating couldn’t be further from the truth at Moortown. So back in your box!

I've personally haven't visited Moortown, however I have heard that the club is a little run down and in need of little return but Moortown players and officials clearly feel proud of their club and so they should. Top of the league with somw great wins behind them and that winning momentum should see them crowned champions.

With that said, are the rfu laws for level 6 and below that no players are to be paid. Clearly the Cash is being splashed and this is a big advantage over other teams in the league who are following the rules and are not paying players.
