Brods alert
« on: January 18, 2019, 11:14:29 PM »
With temperatures set to plummet tonight to a chilly 1 degrees. Will Brods venture to the extremes of south yorks or will they Canary test a junior side to go first and not risk a cataclysmic event with their expensively assembled first team squad that must cost a fortune to insure.
Let's see what happens. Hope the weather forecasters have got it right !!!!

Alas the worst has already happened Ribby and it has all gone a little lord of the flies.

They had a team meeting at the club late last night and as a few solitary flakes began to fall panic set in and within half an hour they set fire to all the club furniture to stay warm and completely emptied the bar of crisps and kitkats in a feverish attempt to onboard as many calories as possible to last the long winter nights.

For some though that was not enough and the front row of Thompson, Stapley and Pritchett daubed themselfves in excrement and set to work on what meat there is to be found on Phil Town.  Tom Anson was apparently next on the menu given his especially juicy hind quarters.

Fearing that an inch and a half might fall and that they would never again feel the loving caress  of another the back row trio of Jennings, Hoyle and Kafatolu were discovered in the presidents bar having a candle lit threesome.  If you're interested there is a particularly beautiful and artistically shot facebook live feed which shows Hoyle gently caressing Kafatolu assuring him that Jesus wont mind and that he will still get into heaven if he takes it all, while Jennings stands in the background wearing his mums leggings and shoots his load into the T L Asquith trophy for outstanding service to the club.

The last we heard from them was a twitter at 3am today which had a few blurred pictures of what looked like forwards coach Imolek draped with the bloodied skins of Ackyoyd and Sheard with the title "Winter is coming"

A sad day indeed so yes we may indeed have to skip today as the seconds have all made plans for a day trip to Meadowhall and the U13 lads are planning a shirtless sponsored walk around Shibden park.

Sorry M_K not sure where you're coming from with that post. I assume you are refering to flaggy's post which if you were up to speed with past events you would know refers to a last season incident when flaggy was indeed in Y1. Seeing as you obviously have no idea of the background to it, this is intended as a humorous post which as shown by Brods Grimsby's lighthearted reply it is taken in good spirits by Brods and in the way it was intended. You really must lighten up or stop taking too much of that happy juice as it obviously makes you miserable and confrontational. Just for the record this is Yorkshire Rugby Forum and as such anybody is allowed to comment on any of the message boards no matter which league their particular team plays.
Never argue with an idiot, he'll bring you down to his level and beat you with experience!

Good response.  I'm sure most people took the Flaggy post in the spirit it was intended.

And to confirm yet again.
This is the Yorkshire Forum. People are free to post on any thread they like ( common courtesy and politeness expected).

No I get it. Old news.

The guy calls people out for being negative constantly. I'm sure he tried to be humorous but the fact that he's posted it on 2 boards shows that he actually cant resist a dig himself.

Apologies if you are the only one offended by us Y2 minions participating in the higher echelons of forum banter. For the record Brods have taken it in good spirit and asked me to speak on positive thinking at their players dinner. Obviously with a humerous twist. Maybe you can get yourself an invite, listen and learn, before you have too much of the silly beer that makes you such a argumentative chap.
