Outplayed Thorn in all aspects of the game! Too late this season to push for anything but a good test of how good you have to be to be in the top 4!

Special mention to Thorn players who stopped for approx 12mins after the game. Totally missed all the man of the match awards and drinking games! Shocking

Thorne thought they came for an easy win, lack of ideas and did not like the hard knocks, poor attitude not staying down, always a few have to get back early but 12 minutes a disgrace and need to get their heads out of their backsides

Great game down at Knottla today against Thorne and probably one of Knottlas best performances of the season. Both teams got into it straight away with big hits and some mean defence but Knottla just looked more up for the game. Thorne tried to utilise their big pack but it was the Knottla pack that dominated for the most part in the tight and scrums. It was a game with a bit of argy bargy throughout but the result of two teams battering each other for 80 minutes. Very happy to get the bonus point and keep Thorne to one try. Decent set of lads but as previous posters said a bit of a shame to see most of the Thorne players disappear as man of the matches were being announced. Credit to some of the old boys who came round and thanked us for a good game though.

In other news what about the Aire result?! Didn't see that one coming.

Well done Aire, think you may be a few folks joker next week regardless of who you play.

What a battle at Skipton, converted try last play of the game for us to lose, can’t fault them for going for it as they had several odd penalty gifts from the ref in overtime which they could have opted to level for a draw.

Abrasive on the pitch and gents at the final whistle and beyond. Stopped for plenty of beers thanks for that lads and good luck for the rest of the season!

Good game at Cas yesterday. Vandals were in front a lot of the match and Cas were on the ropes in the set piece for most of the first half. However they made a change in the front row and it worked to bring them level at the scrum.
10 kicked well and got them out of dangerous positions. Put a good chip over to give them the try that put them in front. They managed to pick up the win but it was only out of sight in the last 10mins.

Better again from us, plenty to work on. But onwards and upwards.

Postie, no gin..... yet, where are Thorne they all came to Grottingley in bobble hats and scarfs with Thorne all over them proclaiming their love and support and looked down their noses at us, dodged the dog Sh*t all over the   place and went home without putting money behind the bar, we may be a horrible little annoying club, but all clubs survive from takings behind the bar, it’s a good job we had 2 coach loads from Sunderland Football club for their annual 11 am pit stop at our sh*t hole which made up for the Thorne short arms and deep pocket supporters and players🥳

Well a poor showing from the Thorne contingent! I can remember at the beginning of the season when they were giving it the big one, we’ll go unbeaten all season this and that...well HAHAHA
It was a cracking game to watch, the best I’ve seen Knotts play for a good while. That knotts team seems to have a good fire burning in their belly at the minute and the new players they’ve acquired this season really has improved them! Knotts totally out played and muscled Thorne and when Thorne started to get dirty the Knotts lads sorted them out. Well played gentlemen on the down side I noticed the high screech of Beachy back, surely he’s got a family member in the set up to get a shirt. Who was the Chinese kid playing at 9 knotts? Think I’d seen him a couple of seasons ago, very good player!
