Felt the burn!

no doubt more flight tickets for lads who will shack up with local ladies and just happen to stay in the area next season

Lol - neither you of Bulldog will get a reaction from me. Carry on posting whatever best reflects your personality.

Bad luck to Heath.

Commiserations to Scarborough just a pity you couldn't quite put the icing on the season's cake but a great effort anyway and an excellent season. Well Done!

Hard luck Scarborough, was coming to watch but weather conditions put my better half & driver off. Always next season.

Made the relatively short trip north into Lancashire today to watch ‘burn’ vs ‘boro’.
I must say both teams showed tremendous handling skills in most parts in truly awful conditions. Ghastly raking windchill that changed direction every 10 minutes and lashing rain for most of the game.

I have a feeling Blackburn were allowed to play their game, at their ground in conditions that they’re used to. If it had been played last weekend there could’ve been an away upset and plenty of sunburnt fans.

Best of luck to both teams. Having now visited both set ups as a neutral I would say the investment needed to maintain National Three North status doesn’t exist at Blackburn, and it does at Scarborough; but tbey continue to plough it into facilities and not mercenaries.

Best of luck to both teams for next season. Prediction is Blackburn to return down to level 6 at the first asking and Scarborough to either win NE1 outright or be in the bottom half/danger zone.

Commiserations to Scarborough but I suspect it may have been a season too early for them to go up. I’m delighted that they’re still in our league for all the right reasons !
Driffield Bull#hit , don’t know which club you’re from but when you’re fishing for bites try doing it with tongue in cheek and you might, just might, become slightly popular.

Looks like the awful weather had a big part to play in yesterday’s play offs.

Unlucky Scarborough. The weather was awful everywhere yesterday.

I wonder if BrB will carry on posting on the NCA forum? First impressions are that he's already made a few friend who have been quick to come to a reasonably accurate first impression.

We can create a little group on here for Bulldog,  Lack of knowledge and Builders bum..... The three people who always seems to misread the mood. Clearly none of them true rugby folk...

Bad luck, Scarbs. You’ll have to finish top next Season - I’m sure you’re capable of doing so.
PS you sycophant!!

Bad luck Scarbs sounds like you did everything to give you the best chance to win.

At least it gives the rest of NE1 a chance to knock you of your expensively assembled perch next season!!

It will be hard to keep it up again - think it will be another clubs turn to be the surprise package. Moortown?

No doubt they will try and hit the ground running, on the back of a great season.

However it will be interesting to see how their semi professional players fare against teams like Pock, Driff, PP etc away from home.

There is one thing for sure they need to prepare for a step up in class and physicality!!

Must have missed that one but, it is all about 'perception ' and one man's discussion can be another man's slating.
I am sure you will be missed.
