Chief selector

According to Papers on Saturday Carnegie are staying at Headingley next season they have agreed a reduced staging fee which was put at £100k, a 50k reduction on this season.

That’s to use headingley and the training facilities at kirkstall.

But it will still be a fair chuck out of there new part time budget.

So to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge:

1) with the exception of players who have been out all season. ..I believe we are at full strength. If we lose it will be because Blackburn are the better side, not because we are under strength (or we play below what we can).

2) it's hard to tell how many supporters will travel independently... however Blackburn asked for an estimate and we thought around 200 but who knows.

3) yes the squad, coaches and physios are traveling Friday night in a nice coach and even have their own room each so can't blame snoring ..

Whoever loses will be playing you next year me thinks.

I want us to win but the losing bonus prize is another season with friends and local derbies.... So good either way.
looks like you are giving it your best shot! Hope it goes well!
I think you are right, you are in a win, win situation!

Heavy rain forecast today ....sadly not best suited to our running game. It stop the team giving it 100%.

2 supporters coaches going and numerous by direct travel.

Really not sure what to expect.

Yes lost ...hands too cold to type much now. Blackburn deservedly won and we had our chances.

Bad luck, Scarbs. You’ll have to finish top next Season - I’m sure you’re capable of doing so.
