Great win by the York boys today. Not present personally, but a five pointer should just about ensure they stay in this league. Well done to all!

We lost 39-31. On way back will post later.

Another 5 mins and we would probably have won BUT very fair result. Red card for Scarborough - fully deserved both by the law and also that it was such a shirly fuffy slap!!!!

Excellent referee and a good day.

Suspect you got a TB point which may prove invaluable at the end of the season. That is if you can field a side? At this rate you are going to have more under suspension than available?

Bridlington 14- Malton 16 Brid had penalty with last play of the game  Brid in Malton 22  only 12 metres out had three options kick for goal to win match put in touch or scrum but having been pushed all over the park all day all the crowd thought put in touch to go for a try or go for goal No opted for scrum and driven back Over the ball dome 10 yards and Malton scrum half kicked to end game Unbelievable decision so only bonus point for home side

Wow. Can't believe there wasn't anyone with a sensible head on the pitch for Brid?

A spirited display by Pock but too many unforced errors gave an efficient Morpeth side a 20-32 win. Pock looked good for a losing bonus point but 'Peth nailed their try bonus with a cruel score at the death. Fun and games still to come at the bottom of the table.

I agree Dan but that’s what pressure does, in pressure situations like that you need a leader on the field who will impose the right decision for the good of the side.

Brid now need to be positive and tell themselves they have to win their last three games all of which IMO is doable and forget about what everyone else is doing.

So they had a kick in front of the posts with the last kick of the game....they are losing by 2 and CA a scrum???

I really don't get how anyone could make that call - unless I've misunderstood the circumstances...

Unless league setup changes I think York are safe, 16 points in front of third bottom team with three games to play

morriarty, I know you are frustrated but please stop with the bull.

The penalty was around 5m in from touch on the 22 on the right hand side ...with the breeze, which was coming and going, going from left to right towards the scoreboard. It was an Incredibly tough kick for a  right footed kicker with potential league status on the line.

The scrum was solid all game when we had a full 8, the only exception being when there was a prop in the bin and malton had a pushover and the ill fated final scrum.

In hindsight, the tap penalty would have been the safer option but hey ho if I could sell hindsight I would be the richest man in the world.
