BB 78 - 29 Malton.

What's all that about ?? Bradford seemed to have struggled to win a game for weeks and whilst Malton are lower in the table they have been generally competitive.

Anyone with any back story? Depleted squad, red or yellow cards?

I don't think anyone was expecting that....

Malton appeared to have a lot missing compared to when the Bees went up to their place back in December. However in an attacking sense as a lot of teams will have found the Bees were on fire yesterday. Malton started the game strong with a young and enthusiastic attitude but once the Bees got in their flow it was largely men vs boys. Malton never gave in and to their credit left with a bonus point.

B and B playing for contracts next season?

Malton resting a few players for next week local derby with Scarbars? Any hope that they may derail the Scarbars chariot next week disappeared with the Morley defeat at Cleck, not many saw that coming!

and the talk emanating from YM that they did not want to go up out of this league, seems to have been corroborated by a very unexpected home loss to Consett, who are finishing the season strongly after their relegation.

YM v Consett very close game until last play. Consett were on top form and not playing like a demoted team, their kicker was on top form. Deserved their win. As a YM follower didn't see that coming!
