Interesting development at Blackburn. I note that Saturday's result on the RFU website has been changed from 97-0 win to HWO. I further note from the match report that an opposition prop went off after 14 minutes and the match became uncontested and they were down to 14 men. I believe this could mean that the opposition didn't fulfill the requirements of the match and therefore the result may not stand. If that is the case then whoever finishes 2nd in our league, perhaps, has a better chance of a home match in the playoff.

Good job for Blackburn they had obtained the bonus point prior to the uncontested scrums otherwise it may have seen them a further point down and one behind Scarborough.
Have they been given the score as at the time the prop departed or no score whatsoever?

No.... apparently HWO is just 5 points to the receiving team and no points for or against. Or so I've been told..

I believe the regs say that the result / score only stands if a game is called off after the 60 minute mark. If before, then a replay ensues?

Seems bizarre that the wonderous RFU regulations could work against Blackburn and the benefit of a home play off. Especially if Douglas (IOM) don't see any point in a large expense in travelling away to fulfil their final fixture at Blackburn where they have nothing to gain and concede the fixture.

Bit tough on Blackburn who are one of the Lancs clubs who don't want to make life difficult for everyone else. When it comes to play-offs Scarbs deffo have the luck of the devil.

scarborough as a sporting gesture could concede home advantage to Blackburn as they received no advantage from something completely beyond their control (the rule probably needs adjusting) I do hope that whoever Blackburns opponents were don't manage to avoid relegation on points difference. I seem to recall Durham conceding to Scarborough last season when they couldn't raise a suitable side in the play off.
