Before anything else gets said a massive respect to Rotherham for coming through to us today with clearly a scratch team. They gave us the HWO before the game but still came through to give us a contest which was great as we had all our sponsors down for today and a good crowd to boot. The score finished 102-0 but was played in good spirits throughout and a big mention to Rotherham for sticking at it for the full game and staying for a few drinking games after too in the club. No matter the score rugby won today. Good luck for the season Roth.

A few teams struggling for players towards the end of the season. Some nothing to play for, some gone to Rugby League and some well, just cant be bothered I guess.

Castleford went to Thorne with 17 players yesterday. At 10.00am they didn't have a side. A big shout out for some of the players that came at very short notice despite obvious injuries and despite previous commitments for which they cancelled.

Thorne well worthy of their win, played the game in the right areas of the pitch and used their size to good effect.

All the best to Thorne in their upcoming cup game and their push for promotion.
