Tempting as it is...I actually don't like the direction the RFU is going with this and I also like a number of people involved at York.

It does make me wonder if there is a rogue element who is offering and agreeing to pay large match fees to a distinctly average player. He did also say that there is already another kiwi there on the payroll and another one looking to join. It rather questions DAA claim of only picking local players.

I don't intend to comment on this again although I do think York may find themselves in bother over this.

Horse manure!!!
If you have libelous information then print it!!
The last time I checked this young man is the only NZ player who is at York!! But I am not in the know at York and neither do I want to be.
However I understand from the horses mouth that the atmosphere at Scarborough is not what you would expect from a community club!!

I'm sure DAA will be able to tell you once he decides to find out what is actually going on at semi pro York before commenting further.

I do love these squabbles, usually particularly heated in the off season. Players do talk:  mortgages paid, 'jobs' rewarded etc etc.....we all know roughly what's going on and where.
The merry go round will hopefully settle by August.

They will instead divert up the Ouse on a high tide to where the money is. Makes sense.
