Seen a few similar posts for other divisions, so just wondered what people’s thoughts were on the potential promotion candidates this season.

NE - based on finishing positions last season, potentially the weaker half of Y4, though you can never tell from year to year. Think it will be well contested, honestly can’t pick who will do well in this half, a lot of unknowns!

SE - I think that Mosborough, Hessle and York RI could be challengers this season, seemed to be pretty closely matched last season and were the top 3 behind Wibsey and Ossett last season.

Always been 1 team from either division that has gone up with the current structure, but I think there may be 2 from the SE section this season, between the 3 teams mentioned above.

Really looking forward to this season at Hessle. I think SE league will be tough with mosborough and York and depending on the Knaresborough side, them and LMD pushing from the NW. consistency is key, something we have lacked over the last few years. Hoping to resolve that this year with the players we have. Looking forward to York at home on the 21st Sept
