Bees 54-7 Moortown. One sided game after 5-10 mins. Moortown started quick and confident as expected. Very warm dry conditions suited Bees over a heavy Moortown pack. Bees scored some excellent tries from distance.

Decent bonus point but maybe if park weren’t missing a few they could have got something from it!

York worth their win, but and it is a big BUT the Pocklington front row must be looking at one another extremely confused as to how they lost. As they completely dominated at scrum time!!
The York scrum had more reverse gears than an Italian tank!
So happy to take the win but significant room for improvement!

You need something in your engine room (second row)...
Glad to see York have scraped a win, no one wants to be nine from three.

An entertaining game at Percy Road with Pock nabbing a losing bonus point from a last kick penalty. Pock's scrum moved into earthmover mode with the arrival of replacement No 8 from the bench, but the mobility of the two try-scoring York back-rowers belied their girth and was probably the main difference between the sides. If Pock work on their concentration and application it will come good.

Entertaining game at Silver Royd....end-to-end stuff early on but Scarborough seem to take their chances when they came and created a number of try scoring opportunities.

The park 8, 12 and winger we're particularly good players.

It was a really good win under the circumstances considering the players Scarborough had missing ..although those who stepped in gave a very good account of themselves.

Park were missing their influential fly-half and player coach.

I really liked the way the referee reffed the game, he had a very pleasant and calm disposition.

Pretty big crowd considering it was the first game of the season which generally are lower than later games.

Excellent pre-match company with the Park officials who shared many of our thoughts on the direction of the game and how to run a club successfully.

Sharing how to run a club = sign foreign players and pretend they've married local women.
Brag all season until they get pumped in the cold wind and wet of Lancashire.
