Signed up for this week's ago, received an email today saying unfortunately I didn't get a place allocated as they wanted a mix of roles and experience at the event.

I suppose someone who: played adult rugby in the yorkshire leagues and higher over 18 years before retiring from playing 2 years ago; coached at a club for 7 years at levels 8,9, 10; now club secretary; will not be able to provide any insight worth listening to.

Dan apparently not.

I have played rugby at Premier level, Pembrokeshire League, pre leagues in Yorkshire, club secretary for 11 seasons, district chairman, secretary then chairman of Yorkshire Competitions and a league secretary and also Yorkshire rep on NorthDoc.

Has anyone been invited to WPL on 27/11/2019?

They know you’re part of the Yorkshire Cup brigade Fredsbar, so rightly they’ve excluded you, plus you’re Welsh.

Only those who toe the RFU line.
AND returned their views on the seemingly non existent RFU Survey

Nice one cynic. Don’t blame me if leagues are reduced to 12 with CB boundaries  being replaced with Geographical boundaries.
Yes I am Welsh and very proud of it. Has nothing to do with living in Yorkshire for 20+ years and putting back into Yorkshire rugby what I can.

Did anyone actually get selected to attend this event last night? Any feedback?

I understand David Baker did, attending in the capacity of a Club Committee Member, a Yorkshire RFU District Chairman and as a NCA representative.

Based on the email he sent out, i got the impression he isn't too impressed with things to date.

I haven't seen any email as yet. I'll do a bit of digging elsewhere to find out if anyone else went.
