Not sure exactly when this happened but I believe over the last couple of weeks. Patience ran out with the coaching team that started the season and the big axe came out. The new setup had a good start against Scarborough.

We did change coach companies at the beginning of the season.

I was informed that the coach left just before Christmas to take up a position at some higher academy that is affiliated to the Falcons. Maybe this had an affect on the assistant coaches if they have all left and brought in a full new set up?

They promoted player coach Ash Smith to Head Coach and made current players and club captains Michael Langlands and Andrew Dunn joint forwards coaches.

They also have Matt Hodkinson from the Newcastle Falcons 1st team analyst helping out.

PP were a tough side at home last season and they 5 and 2 at home this season.

They can go above Kendal if they get 5 points this weekend and they shut Kendal out!

But they do need to wake up and quickly, if they are to extricate themselves from a relegation scrap!

PP have just been consistently inconsistent this year!! We had all thought they were building something last year but as all teams who struggle with injuries, availabilities and buy in do take their toll and effect performances.

Looking at their squad this week it actually seems like they have finally put out the same squad 2 weeks in a row!!
