Alternative Venues

I do hope with all this bad weather, clubs have found alternative pitches to play on,if there pitch is not playable.Rumour as it ,that clubs who don’t do that may face sanctions???

Anyone not been affected by bad weather, clubs rely on home match day revenue and to not have that and be expected to fund alternative pitches shows how far some people are away from reality.

They are farther away than that.
If you read the regs they can “Order” you to play at your opponents even if you have already played them away already this season if no other pitch available. Kick off times go by the board if a floodlit 3G pitch is available.
Loads of regs re where and when and what time, all meaningless by one little bit they slip in that says each region has delegated powers to amend the regs where they see fit.
Next few weeks going to be interesting.

It would be interesting if a club was ordered to travel on a weekend when the Met OFFICE advice is to travel in emergencies only. Would they accept responsibility in the event of an accident.

So last week Heath were told they must play and find a alternative venue or face sanctions.Play home or away, school  field or all weather pitch but we must play or face sanctions. This week Hullensians is waterlogged and that’s fine. All the while Heath have already been told we must play next week and if our pitch is not fit find an alternative venue.Anyone enlightened me on this situation as it seems it’s one rule for one and one for the rest.Just asking???

Its just special rules for Heath, the three bigger clubs in Halifax don't have to worry about this rule. I'd complain that the smallest club is being picked on...

Maybe they are aware of Heath's policy of cancelling games unless they have their entire first choice front row available and wanted to call your bluff on it.
