What’s people’s thoughts on what RFU will do with future fixtures and if it’s cancelled what happens?

Wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to be the last game of the season today. Would imagine they’ll take the league positions as they stand but not sure what they’ll do about games in hand.

I agree completely Gateprop. Also think they should void the National Cup results and restart it again next season.

Worth a go wasn't it 😂😂😂 If anyone from RFU is reading this I am willing to do free consultations to help resolve the matter with my impartial view.

From a senior representative earlier this week within the RFU all domestic games will be cancelled within 14 days. Decision pending on leagues but his personal thoughts at this time reset as is no promotion no relegation, thoughts

No promotion or relegation would be ridiculous.Call it now if it needs to be but don’t scrap promotion/relegation.

Post on another division forum claiming the two games postponed in Y3 was due to quarantined players, can anyone confirm from any of these clubs? Either way I think the season is done, all that remains to be seen is how the promotion/relegation scenarios are played out.

My opinion for what it's worth ........ there should be no promotion or relegation unless the 'key' remaining games are played. Reality is nobody knows what the final standings would be.

Agree Postie. Someone 2nd bottom could have bottom half of the table to play while 3rd bottom has to play top 4.

Frustrating but only fair way of doing it.

It’s just a game, doesn’t matter what league you are in at all, it’s about social interaction in a sporting environment with friends, the bigger picture is the safety of our elder generation, yks will cancel all games no doubt in that, start again next season hopefully with the same aged supporters cheering you on
If at first you dont succeed give in your probably rubbish !

This is true, baildon game called off due to a skipton player in quarantine.
Best option would be to finish the league, even if it runs into June.... and possible delay start of next season to the 1st October.... maybe scrap the cup for 1 season.
Surely league fixtures mean more than the cup, it’s what we play for all season
