Fixtures

We have had our fixtures for the NW ADM leagues very interesting 3 versions, 1 starts Sept 12 with cup comps, 1 mid Oct no Cups and 1 Jan 2021 league split into mini leagues with playoffs etc.

Yes I agree. I think we all accept that 2020/2021 season is not likely to be "normal"..... therefore at least some indication of how fixtures could possibly work at different start pojnts (even if just in principle) would be useful to know.

If for no other reason than to start a discussion and see if other ideas could be thrown into the pot...

Draft league structure already out on RFU North.
Suppose that may change over (long) time.
Wouldn't be surprised with a total  restructure with proposed 2021-22 league ideas brought in early and maybe shortened with no Cups, etc.

Change rugby into a Summer Sport (like Super League - RFL) ??
Oh Dear, I must be really bored, and Summer isn't here yet.

Spring / Autumn rugby is a top shout. March Preseson
14 weeks April - June.
4 week break as supposedly bodies need it !!
Aug-Oct 12 weeks done. Oct - March. lancashire weather off.

Better weather, more spectators, post game bar take up as folks will stay longer. Mid season break for the under thumb players. Mid week cup fixtures. Times are strange, its an opportunity to pre reset button and get rid of all the deadwood.
