I think the possible start dates are 1st September...1st November and 1st January.

Let's hope a second wave doesn't prevent a 1st November start...I think 1st September highly unlikely bordering on impossible.

I think a second wave ( or the Dominic Scummings Tsunami as it will be known) is inevitable given that nobody gives a toss about social distancing any more and we have a government relying on "common sense" as its primary guidance measure.

January for me as much as it pains me to say it.I actually will be impressed if it’s January at the earliest.

Too many low IQ people doing as they please.

January at best for me. But by then winter infection rates could be up so possible/likely no rugby TIL September 2021.

I’ll go September then. With a double on there not being any ‘second wave’.

January start

The main issue will be limited car sharing and coaches being almost impossible to use.

Anyone who thinks we're playing Rugby in September 2020 needs their heads checking.

January on a reduced fixture list possible

My bet however is September 2021.

I may be missing something but it's fairly obvious to me that as long as there is ANY social distancing recommended we will not even be able to discuss starting.  Therefore I agree with Sept 2021.
Goodness knows how many clubs will fail to survive despite, so far, excellant government support.
