This weekends fixtures.

Some interesting games this week across the leagues. Some clear battles for the top spots and those trying to push away from the bottom.

Interested to know what people’s thoughts are!

Driff to take advantage of a battered and bruised Ilkley side and consolidate too spot!

Last Saturday : Driffield 14.59 Otley Saracens. Should be a cracker at Stacks Field…

Not sure this result is anything to go by Pristine.
Driffield had numerous players missing from the league game the week before, and the Otley side certainly did not resemble a ‘Saracens’ / second team side. Plenty of current and ex first teamers playing by the looks of it.

Well it would appear Otley’s first XV beat Billingham away on the same day, so perhaps they have a very strong squad…

Looking forward to seeing old friends from Driffield - always a hospitable club with savvy and respectful followers. We all miss key players now and again, but all in all, we should be grateful that players are playing and we can watch them !

Otley played Billingham the week before according to the RFU website…. But absolutely agree, so glad to be back watching the game we all know and love. I for one have missed it!

Will the wounded Dalesman be that dangerous beast they promised on their recent hype video and take the leagues last remaining unbeaten record?

I DO hope so ! The last time we played at Driff, we won a high-scoring game, the penultimate of the season, which put us above Sheffield and thanks to Driff’s four tries, guaranteed your safety. The following Saturday we beat Pock to win the league and go up to North Premier.

And apart from the hype in the video, the yellow-card incident is shown - and it should definitely have been a red.

I do disagree, mitigation makes it yellow sufficient for me.

Looking forward to Scarborough visiting us in Hipperholme. I wonder if BRB is making the trip.

Cleckheaton v Moortown -7
Consett v Bradford & Bingley -7
Durham v Morley +7
Ilkley v Driffield -7
Malton v Pocklington -7
Morpeth v Heath -7
Brods v Scarborough +7

Most of the -7 predictions could go either way.

I hope to....but I won't know until noon if I am traveling.
Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level.
