It is with a heavy heart that I am informing the forum of the passing of a "True RugbyMan" . Ex Wharfedale, Morley and latterly North Ribblesdale player Gordon Throup died early today. A no nonsense hooker who played many times for Yorkshire and was a massive personality and we'll respected by all who knew him. He will be very sadly missed by all at North Ribb. Our sincere condolences go to all his family at 55 he has gone much too soon.

Whilst I didnt know him, I do know what's its like to lose a club mate too early.
