Some surprise results last week. I think it will be a case of any team can beat anyone this year! Perhaps there are 3 or 4 teams capable of pulling away, but we will learn of that later in the year.

Castleford V Burley- Castleford to win...just. Less than a score in it.

Halifax Vandals V Leeds Medics and Dentists - Vandals to be too big and powerful for the students- +30 win

Hemsworth V Thornensians- Hemsworth by a cricket score

Knottingley V Sheffield Medicals- Knottingley to bully the students as it is a difficult place to go. If Knotts concentrate on rugby, they will put +30 on them.

Ossett V Thirsk - this should be a cracking game of rugby, I expect it to be a tough game. Ossett home win

West Park Leeds V Skipton- draw! West Park Leeds are a good side and they will get stronger each week. I expect a reaction from Skipton after last week

Castleford V Burley - 3 home games on the bounce for Cas and they seem to be churning the wins out down at Whitwood, think they should have enough.

Halifax Vandals V Leeds Medics and Dentists - Two teams with pitches that couldn't be more opposite. The students will not enjoy playing the Orcs on the side of mount doom, Vandals too strong for the young doctors.

Hemsworth V Thornensians - Hemsworth coming out as early front runners after the first few games, can't see Thorne getting anything based on recent results.

Knottingley V Sheffield Medicals - Never know what to expect with the students but they always make it difficult around the ruck especially. We will need to improve on last weeks performance to get anything out of this.

Ossett V Thirsk - Think this could be a tight one but if Ossett can make a nuisance of themselves like last weekend then they should have enough.

West Park Leeds V Skipton - Again a tough one to call with Skipton getting battered at home last week so will give West Park it with home advantage.

Ahh Whitwood Walter with his latest churlish mischief!!

You as a generational benefactor of club monies, it is to some quite appropriate that you believe every club is a cash cow for the players reward to be paid for playing. Most clubs don't have the benefit of boot sales four times a year to share out amongst the needy or should that be greedy!

Your ex DOR (his latest name on the forum being Whaka) has the same mentality as you. He is doing the same thing at his new and latest club, 130 mile round trip three times a week.....for the love of the game??? all the local lads will be pushed to one side for mercenaries who didn't even know where the club was until the carrot was dangled. You`ll see, its happened at Castleford for years and that should be the warning sign for any club who goes down that route in search of (limited) success on the field.

i’m easy to find i’m the chap with a big grin, long pockets, not really watching the game as conversation with silly idiots is far more interesting .

Walter Walter Walter I fully understand what you're trying to do but I think your barking up the wrong tree, Pommy will tie you in knots and make you a laughingstock, unfortunately Pommy knows too much of Castleford club and my endeavours and others furthermore all the embezzlement whats been done over the years, and what Pommy found when he was in Reign why things had to stopped, Walter just be grateful for your car getting fixed! i think need to have a chat with all our paid 1st team before the VP dinner.

Cant speak for the whats happening in the background at cas as the graft has forced me to be away from the club i love however i can say this its purely that, the players are focused and ready to take on this season another home win for cas. Whitwood is gonna be one hell of a test for any team coming through.

We're all cas aren't we and we're living rent free in some peoples heads
