Just wondered if anyone has been on any of the past tours and whether its worth going through the official Lions group? I see you have to pay £300pp to be guarenteed access to tickets.Im curious does this only cover you as an individual or can you buy tickets for the family under one membership?

never bothered with any official tours or associated groups ( followed cricket and Lions in Oz NZ and SA ) not had any trouble at all in purchasing tickets ever .. once managed to buy 15 tickets in Sydney made a mistake once of buying through agency beforehand and found i’d been seriously overcharged.. lesson learnt  . Depends what you want from the experience I guess ..  prefer freedom to buggerabout in my own way personally . There are so many Brits and Irish On tour you can’t help but make new friends and there’s always tickets going spare round the bars.Hardest place to source them was NZ . reckon the official tour groups are a rip off personally .

I've never been on any overseas rugby tours or trips so I comment from a position of zero experience/knowledge!

I would think Lions tickets will be harder to come by simply as all match always seem sold out very quickly. Therefore you would think any spare tickets being sold in bars will be at a high premium.
Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level.

never been on a tour but here’s what I think .you really should put yourself up to be an MP ..i’d defo vote for you .

it’s really simple Rob .. pay a bit extra and you know you’re sorted … be adventurous and go with the flow .. as I said tickets are always available in my experience .. you might get one free , you might pay more , you may not even get one .. if you are going as a group having it sorted beforehand is the boy scout method . To be honest watching the rugger is actually not important once you get on tour . i know lads who gave their tickets away and watched in the Bars .
