Baildon Ab - Ab Harrogate Pythons
Bramley Phoenix 25 - 22 Ripon
Wath Upon Dearne 37 - 5 Northallerton
Wensleydale 43 - 12 North Ribblesdale
Wheatley Hills 19 - 24 Leeds Corinthians
Yarnbury 71 - 5 Barnsley

Our game abandoned after 20 minutes following a neck injury to one of our players. Massive thanks to the Baildon physio team who assisted our physio in keeping our lad stable until the ambulance arrived. Fingers crossed for him that the injury isn’t too serious and he makes a full recovery.

Thoughts and best wishes go to the injured 'Gate lad, hope it turns out not too serious and a speedy recovery.

Not appropriate to add anything else about our game as player welfare is paramount.

Best wishes to the Harrogate player from all at Ribb.

We put in an abject error ridden display, especially second half after playing into a strong wind in first half and turning round 14 - 6 behind. We soon kicked a penalty to get within a score but the home sides forwards were too strong for us. Our lineout had a total nightmare. The scrum was under pressure and we missed too many tackles. All in all "A poor day at the office".
Fair play to the hosts, who looked after us in the usual fashion, they looked a strong side and think they will do well in their home games.
No excuses from Ribb. Well beaten by the better side on the day.

Glad to hear no long lasting damage to the player - I hope he has no harvest / flocks to attend to as the opposition team may be asked to contribute to his small holding

Poor performance by Ribblesdale, convincingly outplayed by Wensleydale.
Hope the Pythons is ok and makes a full recovery.

Best wishes to the Gate player on his recovery.
Bramley pulled off a great win against a young strong Ripon side who should have taken at least a point but decided to go for the try at the end and Bramleys defence stood strong and took the points.
I am sure Ripon will be there abouts at the end of the season. But it was Bramley who claimed there first win in Yorkshire 2 well done 👍 lads

As I said last week Wath would have put 30/40 on ribb without injuries. Ribb were poor. Long hard season from them. Along with Northallerton and Barnsley.
Maybe ribb will get a few player back from the wharfe at back end of season to help them avoid relegation again.

No chance. Wharfedale is like North Korea. Once you get in there you can't  get out.
Kim Yong ul  conducts things from his palace in Pyongyang.
Having said that they are a very well organised club.

PS  Veteran  I didn't know you were at the Ribb game. If not you are only making second hand comments.

Good news about the 'Gate lad GP, fingers crossed for a full recovery.

Congratulations too to Bramley for their first Y2 win and for a sterling performance to make Ripon look very ordinary. The hosts did well from a misfiring set piece, attacked at pace and completely stifled Ripon's game plan. Should do well in this division and look forward to the rematch.
