A bit of a bog roll biter towards the end at Wheatos, with the hosts dominating the second half and nearing a dramatic come back, with the lead just denied them in the final seconds. Some interesting decisions saw three yellow cards for Ripon, so might have been more than the 24 - 27 result it finished at, if 15 players had remained on pitch throughout. Wheatos strong in counter-attack and very resilient, so well worthy of their two losing bonus points. Ripon of course delighted with five points on the road.

A real battle against North Ribb today. A game where both sides threw everything at each other and played some really good rugby in the process. Certainly neither side left anything out there on the pitch and Ribb will probably be disappointed not to have come away with at least a losing bonus point, we were just more clinical when we were in the opposition 22. Hope Ribb enjoyed their day out on the train though and that those who had the pre-match lunch were well looked after, look forward to the return fixture!

Fair enough result in the end, expect Pythons to gain promotion to Y1.
Thanks to them for fulfilling 2nds fixture at Grove Park, a welcome change from HWOs.

Fair summation of the game from Gate property.  We probably played our best rugby of the season away from home but Pythons are a well drilled and capable side and deserved their win. A losing bonus point would have been deserved but never mind. Very well received and lunch was great. Thank you. Had to get taxis from Leeds as two trains cancelled due to some scroats wandering about on the line at Horsforth
Good return journey. Good luck to Pythons think they are destined for Y1 next season.
