Barnsley V Rotherham Phoenix.
 
Tight call if Barnsley get a front row together, gonna go with Pheonix … just.

Burley V Thirsk.

Seems both can be strong one week and not so much the next. Home win.

Castleford V Halifax.

Cas have been showing up. Fax seem to be navigating troubled waters with events this week. Home win. 

Halifax Vandals V Skipton.

Van are 2 from 2. Skip, just short so far. Hope we keep on track with another win. Home win.

West Park Leeds V Northallerton.

Northallerton by a lot.

Wheatley Hills V Sheffield Medicals.

Medics are back but don’t travel well. Big home win.

I’ll still add mine

Barnsley v Phoenix I’m going for a home win. Barnsley seemed to get a front row late on… so maybe they are still around

Burley v Thirsk Burley play their ground well. So I’m going for a home win. But close

Cas be fax some off field drama, so if all the players stay and play, I think fax will do the job.

Vandals v Skipton hard not to pick vandals especially at home

WPL v Northallerton wasn’t immensely impressed with WPL. So going for a bonus point win for Northallerton

Wheatley Hill v Medicals I think Wheatley will be too strong at home

In short I was sacked over the weekend. Differences of opinion and direction. Very sad as there is a very good set of lads who were playing some good rugby.
I’m not going into all the politics. But will back the boys to continue the journey.
So in short… one coach and his son looking for new pastures. 🫣🤣
I have no malice towards the club. It’s the players I feel for as they were being dragged into politics which isn’t fair.
So done for now. But I will be back soon I hope.

Definitely not about money being paid… rest assured I was led to believe that no one… received any payments for playing! Other than the £20 they got if training Tuesday Thursday and playing Saturday.

Premier, I think you are correct, I was told about the £20, and fail to see how that is not recognised as being paid, but seems there may be larger envelopes. Some folks never learn.

20 players on £20 a week x 24 fixtures is £9600 over a season.
Telling me that money couldn’t be better spent elsewhere at that club. No wonder there was ‘politics’ and a difference in direction.

Guess we all now know the price of promotion from Y4!
